About Space City Pro
Space City Pro is a full-service event and experience firm headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. We partner with enterprise organizations to design and deliver high-stakes corporate events and experiences across the United States and internationally.
Our work spans corporate conferences, sales kickoffs, executive summits, product launches, brand activations, broadcasts, and complex multi-venue programs.
We bring strategy, creative, production, technology, logistics, and execution together under one accountable team. Our clients engage us when the program is complex, the expectations are high, and execution matters.
The Opportunity
Space City Pro is seeking an exceptional enterprise sales professional to drive new client acquisition and become a foundational member of our commercial organization.
This is not an account management role, an inbound sales position, or a role built around responding to incoming RFPs.
This is a senior individual contributor position for a proven new-business producer who knows how to identify opportunities, gain access to executive and event decision-makers, develop relationships, and convert those relationships into significant revenue.
The successful candidate will be expected to build and own a substantial pipeline from the beginning. We strongly prefer candidates who enter the role with an established professional network and existing relationships with organizations that purchase enterprise event, experiential, creative, or production services.
You will work directly with the executive team and our production leadership to pursue complex opportunities, develop account strategy, structure solutions, and close large engagements.
For the right individual, this is an opportunity to help build the commercial engine of a growing company rather than inherit a mature sales territory.
What You Will Own
New Business Development
• Build and manage a portfolio of enterprise prospects capable of generating significant annual revenue.
• Create qualified opportunities through your existing professional network, direct prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, and strategic account development.
• Open doors with organizations where Space City Pro does not currently have an established relationship.
• Develop relationships with event, marketing, communications, procurement, experiential, and executive stakeholders.
• Build multi-threaded relationships across target accounts rather than relying on a single buyer or contact.
Enterprise Sales
• Own the complete sales cycle from account identification and initial outreach through discovery, proposal, negotiation, procurement, and contract execution.
• Sell consultatively by understanding the client's business objectives before defining the production solution.
• Position Space City Pro as a strategic event partner rather than an equipment or labor vendor.
• Navigate complex enterprise buying environments involving multiple stakeholders, procurement departments, agencies, and competitive RFP processes.
• Lead commercial strategy for proposals and presentations in partnership with estimating, creative, technical, and production teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms while protecting company margin and long-term account value.
Pipeline and Revenue
• Carry and consistently achieve an individual annual new-business revenue target.
• Maintain pipeline coverage sufficient to support quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
• Develop accurate forecasts based on defined opportunity stages, client engagement, and buying timelines.
• Maintain disciplined CRM records for accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, next steps, and forecasts.
• Identify stalled opportunities early and take action rather than allowing unqualified pipeline to accumulate.
• Develop accounts beyond the initial engagement into repeat, multi-program relationships.
Market Development
• Represent Space City Pro in client meetings, industry events, conferences, networking opportunities, and program environments.
• Develop relationships with agencies, meeting and event organizations, venues, hospitality partners, and other organizations capable of generating enterprise opportunities.
• Identify emerging opportunities, competitive trends, and changes in how enterprise clients procure event and experiential services.
• Provide direct market feedback to executive leadership regarding positioning, pricing, capabilities, and client demand.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is measured by revenue, pipeline quality, account penetration, and the ability to create opportunities that would not otherwise exist.
Within the first year, the successful candidate will be expected to:
• Establish a credible pipeline of enterprise opportunities within the first 90 days.
• Convert existing industry relationships into qualified conversations and opportunities.
• Develop new relationships inside strategically valuable enterprise accounts.
• Build and maintain sufficient qualified pipeline coverage against assigned quota.
• Close meaningful new business during the first year while developing larger opportunities with longer enterprise sales cycles.
• Demonstrate disciplined forecasting and CRM management.
• Build a portfolio of accounts capable of producing recurring revenue across multiple programs and years.
This role is designed for someone who expects to be measured by commercial results.
Required Experience
• 5+ years of professional sales or business development experience.
• A documented history of personally originating and closing significant new business.
• Experience individually closing engagements valued at $1 million or more.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business without depending primarily on inbound leads, SDR-generated meetings, or an established house-account portfolio.
• Established relationships with corporate event buyers, marketing leaders, experiential teams, agencies, meeting professionals, or organizations that regularly purchase enterprise production services.
• Experience navigating enterprise procurement, competitive RFPs, contract negotiations, and complex buying committees.
• Strong commercial judgment, including an understanding of pricing, margin, scope development, and deal qualification.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States as required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Highly Preferred
• An established and active network capable of creating near-term enterprise opportunities.
• A history of building a territory or book of business rather than primarily inheriting existing accounts.
• Experience selling multi-million-dollar annual programs or portfolios.
• Relationships within technology, energy, financial services, healthcare, retail, professional services, or other enterprise sectors with significant event spend.
• Experience selling integrated event solutions spanning creative, production, technical, broadcast, scenic, and logistics.
• Experience developing national or global client relationships.
• Existing relationships with agencies, event organizations, venues, and strategic partners.
• Familiarity with the Texas corporate market.
• At least 5 years selling event production, experiential marketing, live events, creative services, agency services, or closely related solutions to enterprise organizations.
This Role Is Probably Not a Fit If
Your experience has primarily involved:
• Managing an established book of business rather than creating new accounts.
• Equipment rental sales without broader enterprise solution selling.
• Responding to inbound inquiries or RFPs as the primary source of pipeline.
• Selling individual technical disciplines without responsibility for broader client strategy.
• Event planning or production without an individual sales quota.
• Sales environments where SDRs or marketing teams generated most first meetings.
• Smaller transactional opportunities with short sales cycles.
• Relationship management without demonstrated new-logo revenue responsibility.
We are intentionally looking for a hunter.
Compensation
This position is structured to reward significant revenue production.
• Base Salary: $140,000
• Target Total Compensation: $250,000+
• Commission: Uncapped
• Performance Accelerators: Additional earning potential for performance above quota
• Commission Payment: Paid according to the company's sales compensation plan, including milestones tied to contract execution and client payment
Exceptional performance should result in compensation materially above OTE.
Full quota, commission rates, accelerators, crediting rules, and compensation plan terms will be reviewed during the interview process.
A Note to Prospective Candidates
This position offers considerable autonomy, but it also carries considerable accountability.
You will not be handed a mature territory and asked to maintain it. You will be expected to create relationships, develop opportunities, and close business.
Space City Pro Consulting LLC | Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Sales Page 5We are looking for someone who already knows the enterprise event market, understands how large organizations buy, and has the professional credibility to begin opening doors immediately.
If you have built a meaningful book of business before and want the opportunity to do it again with a growing organization and an uncapped compensation structure, we want to talk.
