Space City Pro delivers full technical production and interactive technology for the 2026 AWS Energy Symposium.
2026 AWS ENERGY SYMPOSIUM: Engaged by Sleek, Space City Pro supported a program spanning multiple hotel floors and partnered with Showbox and JPC on an experience that let attendees control digital content through physical objects.

General session, breakouts, executive support, and an interactive expo experience.
At the 2026 AWS Energy Symposium, physical props became controls for an interactive touchscreen experience. Attendees could trigger custom content sequences and explore AI innovation in the energy sector through the objects in front of them.
That installation was one part of Space City Pro’s assignment. Sleek brought us in to deliver the event’s full technical production at the Hyatt in downtown Houston, covering the primary general session, numerous breakout spaces, executive presentation support, and staffing for every technical position.
The project combined large-scale conference production with custom interactive technology, demonstrating the range of work we can deliver within an agency-led program.
Sleek needed a production partner to take responsibility for the full technical scope across the event’s spaces.
The assignment began with the 2D designs supplied in the RFP. We developed those into 3D CAD diagrams and renderings, then supplied the production systems and technical staff to deliver the program.
For Sleek, that put technical planning, equipment, and staffing with the same partner. Our responsibility extended from the general session to breakout rooms on multiple floors, as well as the systems supporting speakers behind the scenes.
Planning the rooms in 3D. Delivering the video in 4K60.
The CAD diagrams and renderings gave the production team a dimensional view of the proposed spaces. They provided a shared reference for translating the RFP designs into the technical installation.
Video production included Pisces LED panels, redundant Barco E3 systems, and an end-to-end 4K60 workflow. LED walls featured in breakout spaces as well as the general session, extending the visual production beyond the main stage.
Audio systems included d&b and L-Acoustics PAs, supported by nearly 100 channels of Shure Axient wireless. Lighting control ran on grandMA3.
We staffed every technical position. The scope included both supplying the systems and putting the people in place to operate them throughout the event.
Preparing the spaces executives would use.
Speaker support was a substantial part of the production.
Presidential teleprompters, multiple confidence and prompter monitors, and dedicated feeds supported presenters during the program. An executive greenroom included changing rooms and video and audio feeds, giving speakers a place to prepare while following the event.
These provisions connected the onstage presentation with the preparation happening backstage.
Physical props became part of the interface.
The expo activation brought a different technical requirement: a touchscreen experience that responded to physical objects.
Working with Showbox and JPC, we paired our touchscreen technology with a custom app experience focused on AI innovation in energy. Dimensional props interacted with the screens, fired custom content sequences, and became a means of controlling the digital experience itself.
Attendees could influence what happened on screen through the props. That interaction gave them an active role in exploring the content and a physical connection to the technology story.
Delivery required collaboration across scenic, activation, and technical teams. Showbox contributed the expo scenic, JPC served as the activation agency, and Space City Pro supplied the touchscreen technology as part of the partnership.
Sleek’s producer highlighted the team’s ability to keep finding solutions.
Space City Pro delivered technical production across the symposium’s multiple floors, combining detailed planning, extensive presentation systems, executive support, and a complete technical crew.
The interactive installation also demonstrated our ability to work with scenic and activation partners on experiences beyond conventional conference production.
Gareth Changala, Technical Producer for Sleek, described the contribution in his own words:
Greatly appreciate all the hard work and hustle from you and team. As well your ability to continuously pull solutions/hardware out of your back pocket. You guys delivered incredibly well.
