The general session is the hour everything else points to.
Space City Pro provides general session production and keynote production for conferences, sales kickoffs, user conferences, and executive summits. Show flow, stage and screen design, IMAG, playback, presenter support, and show calling are integrated in the production plan, then rehearsed against the approved sequence before the audience enters.
Everything the main stage needs, developed together.
The run of show, the stage picture, the screens, the audio, the presenter experience, and the show call are developed together, with discipline owners named for each and one decision path through the program.
Run of Show & Show Flow
A scripted run-of-show developed with the content owners: segments, transitions, walk-ups, video rolls, and the timing decisions that keep the room moving with the message.
Stage Design & Screen Geometry
Stage architecture and LED composed for the room: sightlines planned to the full seating map, a screen surface that serves the content, and a stage picture designed for the audience and the cameras together.
IMAG & Camera Coverage
Multi-camera coverage designed with the stage picture: camera positions, jib coverage, and IMAG surfaces composed for the room, then rehearsed with the show call.
Presenter & Content Support
Speaker-ready rooms, confidence monitoring, prompter support, and version-controlled deck management, so presenters walk on stage with the right content and the right view.
Audio & Lighting for the Room
Speech intelligibility first: audio designed and tuned to the room, and lighting that shapes the stage for the audience and exposes it correctly for the cameras.
Show Calling & Stage Management
Show callers and stage managers coordinate cues, speakers, transitions, and backstage movement. The live rhythm of the room runs to a rehearsed plan.
Rehearsed before doors, coordinated through the show call, documented after.
The session is rehearsed with the people who will run it: technical checks, walk-throughs with presenters where the schedule allows, and a show call that has already worked through the transitions before the audience arrives.
During the show, the room runs through the show caller. Cameras, playback, audio, lighting, and stage management are coordinated from the calling position, with a named production lead and an escalation path if something needs a decision.
When the program includes a stream or record, the broadcast plan is developed with the room plan, not bolted on: see broadcast & live streaming for how the remote audience is served.
This page describes the production discipline; the event-type pages describe whole programs. A sales kickoff or user conference wraps a general session in breakouts, experiences, and logistics; this practice is the main-stage system inside those programs.
Both models work. Client teams and their agencies often own the message and the decks; we produce the session around that content, including staging, screens, playback, presenter support, and the show call. Where creative development is wanted, our creative & content studio develops openers, motion graphics, and screen content in the program’s brand system.
Rehearsal time is planned into the production schedule from the start: technical checks before presenter time, then walk-throughs prioritized by segment complexity. The schedule is agreed with the content owners during planning, so rehearsal is a protected part of the program rather than what remains of it.
Give the main stage the production discipline the message deserves.
Share the program, room, audience, and content plan. We will discuss the session design, the presenter experience, and how the room will be rehearsed and run.
